WESTMINSTER, Vt. – It’s a new school year, and Lisa Palmer and Father Lance Harlow delivered colorful new backpacks to the students at Kurn Hattin Homes for Children to help them carry their textbooks and school supplies in style. Lisa is a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, and Father Harlow is the Rector at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral in Burlington, Vermont. The two coordinated the effort as a part of the St. Nicholas Project, a statewide collaborative of Vermont Catholic parishes that organized to provide resources to the Kurn Hattin children.
