Back-to-school safe driving

REGION – The Vermont State Police remind the public that schools are beginning. This will increase the morning and afternoon traffic and young student drivers will be traveling to and from school and related activities. Children will be walking to school along roads and making their way to bus stops. We remind the public to stop for school buses and to yield to pedestrians as they make their morning and afternoon commutes. Plan for a longer commute, drive responsibly, stay alert and help keep Vermont roads safe for all.

Parents are asked to remind their young drivers to stay alert, wear their seatbelts and drive responsibly.
