LUDLOW, Vt. – On Feb. 17, 2018, at the Clock Tower Base of Okemo Mountain Resort will be the Torchlight Parade, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink. Enjoy a pyrotechnics show at 7:30 p.m. in the Okemo Clock Tower base area, following an amazing torchlight parade of skiers and riders traversing Okemo’s Open Slope trail. Kids can participate in their own special Light Parade prior to the Torchlight Parade and Fireworks show. Call 802-228-1600 to register in advance.
Would you like a guided snowshoe tour for Okemo’s gala fireworks displays? Meet Joe Karl inside the Okemo Express Rental Shop located at the Main Base at 6 p.m. to be fitted for Tubbs snowshoes – or you can bring your own. Tours depart the Okemo Base Area beside South Ridge Quad A at 6:30 p.m. and head up on the Bull Run trail to watch the fireworks. The snowshoe tour is first come, first served; reservations are recommended. Please have guests call 802-228-1558 to reserve their spot in the tour.
You are cordially invited to the 8th annual Okemo Mountain School Winter Festival on Feb. 17, 2018 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Willie Dunn’s Restaurant at the Okemo Valley Golf Club.
The Winter Festival is a fundraiser to benefit Okemo Mountain School, Ludlow’s ski and snowboard academy. Please join us for an evening of wine and cheese tasting, Vermont beer tasting, and sampling of foods from our local resturants. Enjoy catching up with friends, browsing the silent auction, and supporting OMS. It is a casual evening meant for mingling with friends, old and new, and enjoying great food and drink.
