DORSET, Vt. – On Tuesday, Dec. 12 meet at 9 a.m. at the top of Nichols Hill Rd. parking area in Dorset for a backcountry ski or snow shoe up Mother Myrick Mountain. This is a challenging hike with 3,356 ft. of elevation gain over about three miles and several steep sections and then a return on the same trail. The reward is a big view from the ridgeline.
Bring extra layer of clothes, extra pair of gloves, water, snack, and lunch. Bring hand warmers.
