SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Darlene Y. Lique, 79, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vt. She was born Aug. 5, 1938 in Chicago, the daughter of Buster Odell and Virginia L. Daniels.
She was employed as a House of Lloyds sales representative for many years. She worked as a nursing assistant in Home Health Care and also at the Hanson Court Nursing Home. She worked at American Optical and Whitney Blake. She also ran bingo for many years.
On June 7, 2003, she married Daniel R. Lique in Springfield, Vt.
She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and Yahtzee, going on car rides, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband Daniel, her children Dennis Gallager Jr., Katherine Gallager, Louanne Kulpa, Ann Marie Morrison, Virgina Bessette, and Sharon Cenate; stepson Jason Lique; stepdaughter Angelique Lique; two brothers William E. Daniels and Kevin F. Daniels; two sisters Robin K. Daniels and Cheryl B. Daniels; also by 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by one daughter Cindy Cenate, one son Maynard G. Cenate Jr., and by two brothers Larry A. Daniels and Tommy Daniels.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Chester, Vt.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
