SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Cleo L. Faye, 90, passed away on Friday evening May 12, 2017 at the Springfield Health & Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Vermont. He was born August 22, 1926 in Ware, Massachusetts the son of Ervin E. and Nettie (Rogers) Faye.
He served in the United States Army during WW II, serving in Germany.
On July 10, 1947 he married Thelma M. Rice in Randolph, Vermont she predeceased him on July 25, 2002.
He was employed at Moore Drop Forge Company in Springfield, Massachusetts for over 35 years.
He loved fishing, enjoyed all sports and loved playing bingo.
He is survived by four sons – James Faye of Pennsylvania, Roger Faye of Oregon, Michael Faye of Wisconsin, and Ronald Faye of Massachusetts. One daughter Barbara Rorison of Vermont, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 nieces.
He was predeceased by one brother Robert Faye, one sister Alice Reynolds, and one son Stephen Faye.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Randolph, Vt. Reverend Sally Ann Selfies will officiate.
Friends may call at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt. on Monday evening May 22, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
