Wantastiquet Rotary work on trail improvements

LONDONDERRY, Vt. – Over the past few months, the Wantastiquet Rotary has been involved in new trail signage and maintenance of local trails in Londonderry, including the Library Trail in South Londonderry, Flood Brook Elementary School Trail, and Memorial Park Trail.

Through a $1,500 grant from the Collaborative of Londonderry via the State of Vermont, paw print signs have been placed on all three trails, as well as entry signage at each trail head.

This project was made possible thanks to members of the Rotary, Burr and Burton students, and Marge Fish of the Green Mountain Club. Moving forward, the Rotary, with the help of the students, will continue to clear and maintain these trails for the enjoyment of local residents.
