No more cash at the Transfer Station

LONDONDERRY, Vt. – Cash will no longer be accepted at the Londonderry Transfer Station as of Oct. 2, 2017. Annual stickers are required and must be purchased at the Londonderry Town Office located at 100 Old School Street, South Londonderry; a residential sticker is $10 and commercial sticker is $25. Tickets can be bought in person, by sending a check in the mail along with a self-addressed envelope to the Town Office. The 2018 stickers can be purchased in Nov. 2017 and will be valid from Jan. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2018.

Additionally, a punch card system will begin for paid trash disposal. The pre-purchased punch card is required to pay for trash disposal and other materials. Punch card pricing- five punches per card will cost $10 or purchase or 10 punches per card for $20. One punch is up to 13-gallon bag, two punches are at 14 – 33 gallon bag, and three punches are for 34 to 50 gallon bag. Any larger items will be paid for with the appropriate number of punches. The cards can be purchased at the Londonderry, Peru, or Weston Town Office as well as at Londonderry Hardware and the Weston Marketplace. A check can be mail with a self-addressed envelope to the Londonderry Town Office. All checks are to be made out to Town of Londonderry.

The Transfer Station hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 a .m. – 4 p.m. Sunday the Transfer Station is open 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
