LANDGROVE, Vt. – On July 15 at 9:30 a.m. the Landgrove Meeting House is delighted to welcome Michael J. Kennedy who has graced our space before with his unique perspective. Widely known as a lauded educator, he also served for three years as a naval officer in an underwater demolition team and was officer-in-charge of a Gemini Space Capsule Recovery. His lifetime commitment to learning spans from the west to the east coasts, from grade school teacher to department chair. At Chestnut Hill Academy in Pennsylvania for seven years, he taught English and became the department chair. Similarly at Pomfret School in Connecticut, he chaired the English department and was dean of faculty. While he now lives in New Hampshire, he had a house in Landgrove for 15 years and knows and loves the area deeply. Please join us for this special event, complete with fellowship, song, sharing, and a coffee hour afterward.
