Critical deadlines approach for two key chamber benefits

REGION – Okemo Valley Chamber of Commerce announced two key program offerings in October and November with critical deadlines now approaching.

In October, the Vermont Association of Chamber Executives announced that its member chamber organizations will again add health insurance to their member offerings statewide.

The three competitively prices plans through BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont and only offered to Vermont chamber member businesses with 1 to 100 employees. The enrollment deadline for these plans are Friday, Dec. 14.

More recently, following the Vail Resorts acquisition of Okemo Mountain, the EPIC Local Merchant Pass was announced as a benefit for business members of Okemo Valley Chamber of Commerce. This season pass provides unlimited skiing or riding at ten mountains including Okemo and Mount Sunapee, as well as an additional eight mountain including points West, Stowe, and other mountains – some with holiday and other restrictions.

In addition, the pass provides discounted lift tickets – six ski with a friend and six buddy tickets. The deadline for employers to purchase vouchers for the EPIC Local Merchant Pass is Saturday, Dec. 15.
