Conversation with your Windham County senate candidates

ROCKINGHAM, Vt. – The Rockingham Democratic Committee is holding “A Conversation with your Windham County Senate Candidates” Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall in Bellows Falls.

Two seats are open in the Windham County Senate Democratic primary race with three candidates on the ballot: Becca Balint, Wayne Estey, and Jeanette White. This is the community’s opportunity to ask the candidates:

  • What do you think are the most important issues facing Vermonters in 2018?
  • How do you plan to address them?
  • How do you keep government going when the issues are so contentious?
  • Where do you stand on health care, livable wage, school mergers and Act 46, sending Vermont inmates to prisons in other states?

Bring your questions for the candidates!

Voter registration forms will be available at the meeting. Voting is Aug. 14, 2018 at your regular voting location. Early voting started June 30 by mail or at your town clerk’s office. For more information, contact Leslie Goldman, chair, Rockingham Democratic Committee, goldpeak100@gmail.com.
