LUDLOW, Vt. – The Black River Area Community Coalition is sponsoring the 1st Annual Wellness Fair on Friday, May 11 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the Ludlow Community Center. There is no cost and everyone is invited. Several Windsor and Rutland County agencies are participating in the event including Vermont Department of Health, Springfield Hospital Community Health, Ludlow Ambulance, Recovery Centers and more.
The Wellness Fair is being held in conjunction with a Wellness Day at Black River High School. Students will be participating in a variety of workshops including Yoga and Martial Arts, and will listen to representatives from the Women’s Freedom Center, Ludlow Police Department, and BRACC. Colin Andrzejczyk, a licensed drug and alcohol counselor, will speak to all the classes on current trends. The Black River Area Community Coalition is a non-profit organization that promotes a healthy community supporting all youth in safe environments.
