LUDLOW, Vt. – The Black River Area Community Coalition is once again offering our successful Summer Youth Leadership group. Each Tuesday afternoon of the summer students are invited to complete a community service project. The program, which begins Tuesday, June 26, is open to all incoming seventh through tenth grade students. All participants who complete the weekly community service will be treated to a fun activity the following Thursday afternoon. Please encourage your child to attend; we want to hear their thoughts on activities and community service projects. Our tentative schedule is as follows:
Community Service from 2 to 4 p.m.
- June 26 – Greven Field
- July 10 – Gill Home
- July 17 – Plymouth Town Hall
- July 24 – Dorsey Park
- July 31 – Black River Good Neighbors
- Aug. 7 – Black River Academy Museum
- Aug. 14 – To be announced
Fun activities will take place Thursdays, 3 to 5 p.m. June 28; July 12, 19, 26; and Aug. 2, 10, 16.
A parental release is located on our website. It can be mailed or dropped off at our office, which is located on the second floor of the Ludlow Town Hall.
