MFR-Yin yoga workshop to relieve tension and pain

Myofascial Release (MFR) is an emerging science and therapy that is designed to relieve pain by opening up the fascial system. MFR techniques are designed to release habitual muscular patterns and chronic pain for enhanced everyday mobility.

You will also experience Yin yoga, a practice specifically developed to penetrate deep into these tissues by relaxing muscles, bones and joints for increased flexibility and healing. The Yin practice will provide you with a toolkit of yoga poses.

Kami Leonard Golembeski, OTR/L, is an expert MFR practitioner. She has been practicing John Barnes MFR for over 12 years and has her own practice in Manchester, Green Mountain Myofascial Release.

Gail Mann, certified yoga teacher (at the 500+-hour level) and therapist (C-IAYT), will guide participants in a deep, relaxing Yin practice. Gail currently teaches at Mountain CommUnity Yoga in addition to her private practice focused on mindfulness and wellbeing.
