LUDLOW, Vt. – The Black River High School, Middle School and Ludlow Elementary School Fine Arts Departments have teamed up together for an evening of art and music in Presidential Hall at Black River High School beginning at 6 p.m. on May 16, 2017.
The K-12 Art Show will kick off with its opening event at 6 p.m., according to Rachel Karner and Marcia Dockum, coordinators of the show. This is the fourth time that we have brought together students from both schools. There will be about 200 students exhibiting more than 400 creations, from paintings to drawings and multi-media artwork. The show is open to the community beginning May 16 and closing on May 24.
At 7 p.m. on May 16, immediately following the Art Show opening, Katherine Herrle and the BRHSMS Music Department will present their annual Pops Concert, featuring the BRHSMS Chorus, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. The concert will feature popular music ranging from Beauty and the Beast to Billy Joel to Selena Gomez. As always, this performance is free and open to the community!
What a great way to spend a spring Tuesday evening!
