Fall has arrived at the Thrift Shop and winter is on its way. The Shop is well stocked with snuggly warm outerwear in lovely fall colors, winter shoes and boots, beautiful scarves, decorative holiday items, glassware, kitchenware, clothing for men, women, children and infants, and much more.
The Food Shelf has provided fresh produce for our recipients this summer, thanks to the donation of three Abundance Acres Shares as well as donations from several individual growers/gardeners. We have received free produce from the Vermont Foodbank and the Healthy Harvest Network. A goal for the winter months is to offer more frozen produce. A big thank you to all who donated produce over the growing season and to the volunteers who picked up the Abundance Acres Shares. And thank you to the many faithful Food Shelf volunteers.
Thrift Shop hours are: Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food Shelf hours are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Produce Pickup.
