Pushing the Limits – Reading, viewing and discussion series

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Rockingham Library will host a free four-part reading, viewing and discussion series for adults called Pushing the Limits. The program will explore humans achieving ways to push the boundaries of the physical world in discussions that will include feature film quality videos and recommended popular books. The overarching theme is one of real people, real stories and real science.
Group discussion events will be held once per month on the following topics and books:
– NATURE: T.C. Boyle, When the Killing’s Done on Monday, January 23
– SURVIVAL: Paolo Bacigalupi, The Water Knife on Monday, February 27
– CONNECTION: Erik Larson, Thunderstruck on Monday, March 20
– KNOWLEDGE: Dimitra Papagianni, The Neanderthals Redicovered date t.b.a.
A light meal, free of charge, will be offered at each group discussion event. This event is free.
