WINDSOR, Vt. – The Ascutney Trails Association’s Annual meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Windsor Town Welcome Center in Windsor, Vermont from 6-8 p.m. We are looking for volunteers, new members, and directors.
The director’s meeting will begins at 6 p.m. followed by a presentation from Rick White, State lands forester responsible for the management of Ascutney State Park. Mr. White will be discussing the Ascutney Management Unit Long Range Management Plan.
The Ascutney Trails Association, Inc (ATA) was incorporated as a non-profit organization in January of 1967. It’s intended purpose is for the maintenance of present and future trails on Mt. Ascutney, building and maintaining shelters, hunting out special points of interest to which trails may be opened, gathering items of history and anecdotes on the mountain, and publishing a guide book. If you have a passion for Mount Ascutney and its history, and are willing to assist in the maintenance of present and future hiking trails, please Join us! Light refreshments will be served.
