Okemo Valley Chamber bids farewell to Marji Graf

LUDLOW, Vt. – On Monday, Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce shifted gears to welcome Carol Lighthall as its new executive director. Longtime CEO, Marji Graf, moves on to a new chamber opportunity in Rockland, Md.

Marji Graf’s tenure spans 10 years, during which time she built organizational strength and capacity, with value added programs and services for its members. She now turns the big scissors over to new director, Carol Lighthall.

Lighthall, a Vermont native, comes to the new position with more than 20 years of community and economic development experience. Most recently, Lighthall served as executive director for Community Capital of Vermont, a statewide small business and micro-loan lender whose mission is to serve lower income entrepreneurs, and with Springfield on the Move, a nonprofit dedicated to downtown revitalization for Springfield, Vt.

She says, “I’m thrilled to be part of this highly successful chamber, and am excited to put my business skills to work advocating and advancing the opportunities for members, businesses and communities in the region.”
