LUDLOW, Vt. – The Ludlow Rotary Club and Okemo Mountain Resort will once again co-host our annual Okemo Bike Climb. The race field is limited to 250 riders with a mass start event with multiple age categories. Our field of riders comes from all over New England to compete in this 5.8 mile grueling race from Jackson Gore to the summit of Okemo Mountain. We are always so proud of our local racers!
Ludlow Rotary wins as well; proceeds benefit our community fund used to assist with requests of support. In the past funds have supported local chapters of Cystic Fibrosis and Multiple Sclerosis; in our community we support our food shelf, youth shelter, student needs for music festivals, National History project, drug and alcohol awareness and literacy to name a few.
The Ludlow Rotary Club was chartered in 1927 and meets at DJ’s Restaurant on Tuesday’s at 12:15 p.m. weekly. Visit our website at www.ludlowrotary.com for more info. We proudly support our local community and international projects.
