Ludlow Rotary holds annual “Changing of the Gavel”

LUDLOW, Vt. – Following its 90-year tradition, the Ludlow Rotary Club (LRC) held its annual Changing of the Gavel ceremony at a recent meeting.  The Changing of the Gavel is the time when the incoming new president of the Ludlow Rotary Club is handed responsibility for running the club for the coming year.

In this instance, it was the turn for the new president of the club, Suzanne Garvey, to receive the gavel symbolizing club management from out-going president, Tesha Buss. LRC meets for lunch on most Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. at DJ’s Restaurant. The LRC is small and is always looking to welcome new members.
