WINDHAM, Vt. – The Windham Volunteer Fire Company will hold its annual auction and barbecue on Saturday, August 12. The day will start at 9 a.m. with a preview of auction items and a huge tag sale. Breakfast will be served. The auction will start at 10.
John Hall will be our auctioneer for the day. New and used items will be auctioned off. A few items that will be up for auction: 1997 Ford Econoline conversion van, antiques, new merchandise, electric bicycle, couches, old safe, tools, household items, and much, much more. There will be a concession stand during the auction. The firehouse is full, so come and support your local fire company.
At 5 p.m. there will be a chicken barbecue dinner, cooked by our firemen. This dinner is all home made: potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, tossed salad, rolls. For dessert you can stay for our famous pie auction at 7 p.m., featuring homemade pies made by locals.
The firehouse is located at 290 White Road, Windham. Look for signs on Route 11.
