United Church hosts Uganda orphanage founder

LUDLOW, Vt. – On Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m., Robert Fleming will describe recent events at Malayaka House (“MH”), the small Entebbe, Uganda, orphanage he founded in 2005. MH is delightfully different from the stereotypical view of orphanages prevalent in the United States. The public is invited to attend this event. Desserts and beverages will be served. The United Church is located in Ludlow at the corner of Elm and Pleasant streets.

Fleming traveled to Uganda and became aware of the urgent needs of ill and abandoned children. An unlikely activist, he was inspired to found MH. Today, that home in Entebbe provides love, shelter, education, nutrition, medical care, safety and opportunity to a beautiful family of about 45 children. This is possible due to support from friends around the world and, in particular, from friends in the Ludlow area. MH’s story is amazing and no one tells it better than Robert Fleming. Come and be amazed!
