TUNBRIDGE, Vt. – In an effort to raise money for the Bridge Repair for the Tunbridge World’s Fairground, Candi Sawyer, event producer of the Jenny Brook Bluegrass Festival announces the one-day Bluegrass Extravaganza! The footbridge was heavily damaged due to flooding on July 3, 2017.

On Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in the pavilion building located at 1 Fairground Road from 1 – 5 p.m., there will be a bluegrass concert featuring five outstanding groups, rain or shine!

Opening the show is Seth and Candi Sawyer from the Seth Sawyer Band with some of his original material and some age-old classics. Next to take the stage is some seasoned duet singing from the Feinberg Brothers all the way from Long Island, N.Y. followed by Jim Rooney from Sharon, Vt. who is a musician, songwriter, recording engineer, and producer. Following Rooney will be an entertaining set by Zink & Company. These talented musicians are very popular in the northeast and will showcase heartfelt original songs and their unique and dynamic renditions of some of your old favorite tunes. Rounding out the show is Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing. Amos became internationally known as the bandleader and songwriter for the award-winning Colorado-based band Front Range. He now resides in Vermont and tours with some of New England’s favorite acoustic musicians.

“We are thrilled to have all of these talented entertainers who are generously donating their time appear at this great event,” said Sawyer. “When we left the fairgrounds in June, we never expected that a week later the footbridge would be washed away.  The fairgrounds are special to all of us and we’re looking forward to all pulling together to help raise funds for the bridge repair!”
