LUDLOW, Vt. – The Friends of the Library will hold their annual book sale at the Fletcher Memorial Library, Main St. in Ludlow, on Friday, Aug. 19 from 1 to 3 p.m and Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a fee for attendance on Friday that provides an opportunity for those looking for particular books to leisurely browse the collection. There is no fee for Saturday.
The library has culled their collection so there will be many books of interest for adults and children. Book donations will be accepted at the library through 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18. Please do not donate textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, magazines, or books in poor condition. Thank you to everyone who has donated books this summer.
The Friends thank those who provided past support. All proceeds support the purchase of books, DVDs, passes for free admission to VINS and Hildene, as well as providing access to the resources of member libraries through the Green Mountain Consortium.
