JAMAICA, Vt. – Get in the holiday spirit with the first annual Holiday Fest and Wreath Workshop. The event takes place at the beautiful historic Jamaica Town Hall on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 4 p.m. -6 p.m. The festival will include a myriad of activities and photo opportunities. Be crafty and create a holiday wreath at the workshop table, or purchase a decorated locally made artisan wreath. Sing carols and enjoy live music with the wonderful Merry Pranksters bluegrass band. The music heads outside across to the town green to light the town tree at 5:30 p.m.
Great raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses including a big fresh cut tree, restaurant gift certificate, food and fun holiday items. Sign up at the D&K store for the cookie swap with talented local bakers. Enjoy homemade refreshments, bring a new unwrapped toy to donate, make a fun project at the kid’s craft area and much, much more.
Jamaica Town Hall is located at 3735 VT Route 30 in the village of Jamaica. The event is free and hosted by The Jamaica Community Arts Council. Larger wreaths are also available for purchase. Have some holiday fun with friends and neighbors!
