LUDLOW, Vt. – We’re getting ready to welcome our guests for the Okemo Valley Antique and Classic Car/Motorcycle weekend on Friday, Aug. 26 through Sunday, Aug. 28.

Cars and motorcycles from decades ranging from the 1910 -1989 will be represented and judged. Car enthusiasts, novices, family and friends are encouraged to attend where they will have the opportunity to view the antique cars, motorcycles and classic cars. Guests will even have a chance to vote for their favorite car in the “People’s Choice” competition.

The events begin on Friday, Aug. 26 with a Fun Run scavenger hunt followed by a Cruise In at Bensons Chevrolet from 5 to 8 p.m.

Trophy for Best Chevy will be awarded at the Cruise In, which also offers an opportunity for early car/motorcycle show registration.

The first 50 people receive dash plates and cookies from Big Eyes Bakery. Pizza will be for sale from Goodman’s American Pie. There will be music and family fun, held rain or shine!

The fun rally will cover about thirty miles on mostly paved roads. Participants will be given a prescribed route and must find the answers to supplied questions as they travel the roads.

This is an untimed event but you will supply the total mileage for the trip; the teams with most correct answers wins and three prizes will be awarded. In the case of a tie, tiebreaker questions will be answered at the end of the rally when answer sheets are handed in.

Pick up questions at the Okemo Valley Chamber of Commerce office anytime after 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26. The rally will take about one hour and answer sheets will be collected at the Cruise -in Friday night. Look for the blue mini truck at Benson’s Chevrolet, as this is where answer sheets are collected.
