WESTON, Vt. – The 34th annual Weston Craft Show was held at the Weston Playhouse from Oct. 6, 7, and 8. As usual, only the area’s best artisans displayed their wares. This show is one of the finest in New England. Again, it did not disappoint those who attended.

Artisans displayed handmade jewelry, pottery, works of art in glass, furniture, leather bags, paintings, and fiber arts. Attendance was excellent with brisk sales. Over the three days, hundreds of people attended. This reporter found the artisans eager to answer questions. In some cases when an exhibitor was asked how an item was created, they happily took the time to explain the process.

This show is produced by the Weston Craft Show committee with all proceeds supporting the preservation of Weston’s historic museums. More than $500,000 has been raised thus far.
