The Hartness House, in picturesque Southern Vermont is located on 35 acres in historic Springfield, Vermont and offers elegant lodging in a world-class setting. It is a restful retreat for guests and visitors to Vermont’s renowned Green Mountains country. This award-winning elegant Inn offers sweeping views of the rolling Vermont countryside and easy access to both Vermont and New Hampshire attractions. Three wings, a working telescope observatory, astronomy museum and a dramatic interior of the original Hartness Mansion comprise this truly unique environment.

The Hartness House Estate includes two additional wings that are easily accessible from the Main House. These rooms are more economical in nature but also maintain a country flair; all include an en suite private bath with shower and a writing table.
